Dental professionals are invited to review and suggest revisions to a diagnostic code set developed in part by the ADA.CHICAGO, Illinois — Revised ANSI/ADA Standard No. 2000.1 SNODENT (Systemized Nomenclature of Dentistry) was approved by the American National Standards institute as an American National Standard in November 2017. The American Dental Association (ADA) has established a maintenance process for SNODENT to revise the standard annually to ensure it is kept updated.
